چکیده
ABSTRACT We present the first results from an imaging and a spectroscopic survey of optical emission associated with supernova remnant (SNR) G107.5−1.5. discovered diffuse filamentary G107.5−1.5 using 1.5- 1-m telescopes. The emissions North-East (NE) North-West (NW) regions show structure, while South-East (SE) East (E) structure. From long-slit spectra, we found [S ii]/H α > 0.5 for SE E regions, which supports origin being shock-heated gas. average ratio is to be ∼0.4 ∼0.3 NW NE respectively, indicating that coming ionized gas in H ii region. ratios ii]λλ 6716/6731, estimate electron density ∼2400 cm−3 region, can attributed dense 6716/6731 are ∼1.25 ∼1.15 indicative low-electron density.

Discovery of Tev Gamma Ray Emission from Tycho’s Supernova Remnant
We report the discovery of TeV gamma-ray emission from the Type Ia supernova remnant (SNR) G120.1+1.4, known as Tycho’s supernova remnant. Observations performed in the period 20082010 with the VERITAS ground-based gamma-ray observatory reveal weak emission coming from the direction of the remnant, compatible with a point source located at 00 25 27.0, +64◦ 10′ 50′′ (J2000). The TeV photon spect...

متن کاملThe X-ray Line Emission from the Supernova Remnant W49b
The Galactic supernova remnant W49B has one of the most impressive X-ray emission line spectra obtained with the Advanced Satellite for Cosmology and Astronomy (ASCA). We use both plasma line diagnostics and broadband model fits to show that the Si and S emission lines require multiple spectral components. The spectral data do not necessarily require individual elements to be spatially stratifi...
متن کاملDiscovery of X-ray Emission from G328.4+0.2, a Crab-like Supernova Remnant
G328.4+0.2 is a moderately small (5×5) Galactic radio supernova remnant (SNR) at a distance of at least 17 kpc that has been long suggested to be Crab-like. Here we report on the detection with ASCA of the X-ray emission from the SNR. The X-ray source is faint with an observed flux of (6.0± 0.8)× 10 erg s cm over the 2–10 keV band. The emission is heavily cut-off at low energies and no flux is ...
متن کاملA Radio Supernova Remnant Associated with the Young Pulsar
We report on Australia Telescope Compact Array observations in the direction of the young high magneticfield pulsar J1119–6127. In the resulting images we identify a non-thermal radio shell of diameter 15, which we classify as a previously uncatalogued young supernova remnant, G292.2–0.5. This supernova remnant is positionally coincident with PSR J1119–6127, and we conclude that the two objects...
